Williams Machine Shop was started in the fall of 1991 by Troy Williams in the town of Lacona, Iowa. By working extremely long hours to keep the shop afloat, he invested any extra profits back in to the company, keeping the business as diverse in the machine and welding world as possible. Knowing that having a new machine or tool could potentially open up to new work. Troy hired his first employee after four years of working on his own.
Farm repair became his main source of work. Doing little to zero advertising, he let his reputation spread by word of mouth. The shop has out grown its self; many times over in the recent years, expanding to its current location on six acres, outside of Lacona. Williams Machine Shop Inc. contributes its success to the quality and hard work put in by the employees throughout the years.
We don’t specialize in one particular item; we like to think we can do just about anything with steel. Making tractor and farm equipment repair a priority with his ever expanding company. Williams Machine Shop Inc. Williams Machine Shop is a family ran business.
